Jim Bob Cooter

Jim Bob Cooter, born July 3, 1984, is the current Passing Game Coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He attended Lincoln County High School in Fayetteville, Tennessee, and went to college at the University of Tennessee. It was there he served as a backup quarterback for the Tennessee Volunteers football team. He appeared in three games for the Volunteers, and was named to the Academic All-Southeastern Conference team. Upon completion of college, he started out coaching for his alma mater before becoming an NFL coach.

This is his 14th season with working for the NFL for teams including, the Detroit Lions, where he helped QB Matthew Stafford rank among the top 10 in the NFL in completion percentage (64.9%), passing yards (21,069), touchdowns (128) and passing plays of 25+ yards (151), Philadelphia Eagles, where he served as a consultant, and made appearances to the Super Bowl XLIV for the Indiana Colts and Super Bowl XLIVIII with the Denver Broncos as an Offensive Assistant.
